Safeguarding

Safeguarding is part of providing safe ambulance care and responding appropriately when someone may be at risk.

Staff and volunteers are expected to recognise safeguarding concerns, record relevant information and use the appropriate referral or escalation route. Safeguarding information is handled with appropriate confidentiality and information-sharing safeguards.
